Once it is reinstalled, I successfully added shared folder. So, I ended up completely uninstalling Backup Exec and reinstalling it after logging on the server as domain administrator. I tried to fix credentials for shared folder access to use domain administrator account, but it did not work. It was caused by installing backup exec from local administrator GUI instead of domain administrator. I had the same (or similar) issue adding network shared folder on Synology Diskstation to storage. But it doesn't make a difference, they're just folders to help me keep them organized. The folder you are trying to reference is written as Server2003, where the folder shown in File Explorer is Server 2008.

The path entered into the backup exec window shown in your screenshot does not match the path highlighted in File Explorer.

I get this on both the local servers with the software installed as well as when I try to add it via the remote admin console. It still gives me the same error, regardless of what network share I'm trying to add. Putting the NAS device aside, if I go on to any computer in the domain, share a drive across the network, give EVERYONE read/write access to it, everyone can access it EXCEPT for BE.

Make sure it has full read/write added to it. That's the third person to talk about the Backup Exec user account.
